FAQs

Is there parking?

There are a couple of parking spaces immediately in front of the restaurant/factory. We can not guarantee that these will be available, but they often are and you are welcome to use them if they are vacant. We would hope it goes without saying to please be respectful of other users of this shared space.

A lot of the side streets near to the building are free to park on, after 6:30pm and also there is parking in the industrial estate directly opposite us, where the breweries are located.

Please be aware there are also a couple of gated industrial complexing in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant that lock their gates in the evening, so please avoid these.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

Yes, we love to see your well behaved, four-legged friends, both inside the factory and in our outside dining area. We would ask that you leave a note when making a reservation, so that we can sit you at an appropriate table and so that we can look after you & them to the best of our abilities.

Are children & babies allowed in the restaurant and do you have highchairs?

Yes, absolutely, we welcome the next generation of Slowburn regulars. If you require space for a pram/buggy, or a highchair please add a note to your reservation and we will endeavour to look after you all to the best of our abilities. We have a limited number of highchairs, so please be patient with us if one is not available immediately.

We do not have a children’s menu, as we prefer to encourage our younger guests to discover the wonders of vegetables!

Can we book for tables of 6 or more?

Yes, we can take reservations for tables of up to eighteen guests during a normal service, so please email us to arrange any special occasions you have in mind or if you simply want to hang out with a whole load of friends!

For larger tables we tend to offer either an early or later seating. The earlier being a reservation between 5:30pm-6:30pm and having the table for 2hrs, and the later sitting between 8:15pm-9pm and having the table for the remainder of the evening.

For tables of eight or more, we offer a set menu that would be served in our usual shared, banquet style, that is a full selection of that weekend's menu and tailored for your guests' dietary requirements.

Can you cater for specific dietary requirements?

As best we can we try our upmost to offer all guests a good selection of dishes to choose from and our menu is specifically designed to be flexible for the more common allergies and dietary needs.

The more info we have, the better equipped we are to help, so please add notes or email in advance of reservations for any less common issues.

We are duty bound to say however, that we have a wide range of ingredients in our kitchen, so we can never 100% rule out the risk of cross-contamination.

Are SlowBurn gift cards available?

Very much so! We offer an E-gift card voucher system that can send your chosen amount direct to your friends & loved one’s email address, and can be scheduled to be sent on the specific day you select.

Our E-gift cards have no expiry date, so as long as we are here, they will be valid.

Is SlowBurn accessible to disabled diners?

The restaurant is one, smooth level, with only a small lip at the entrance doorway.

Whilst the toilets are also on the same level with no lips at the doorways, they are not what we would describe as wheelchair friendly i.e. they are not fitted with handrails, nor alarms etc. and they are not particular spacious to manoeuvre a wheelchair in and out of.

Also please note that some of our tables are more accessible than others, so if you were to make a reservation, please do add a note, so that we can place your reservation at the most comfortable table.
